The Connaught School, Aldershot and Calthorpe Park School, Fleet have joined forces to attempt the 45km Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on 21st July 2013. 40 pupils and 13 staff will be undergoing the challenge.

In doing this, we would like you to help us raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in London who is presently treating former Connaught Head Boy, Tyler White. Tyler is an extraordinary young man and a real fighter who would like to inspire others (you can follow him on @TylerWhite28). Joe Calzaghe and Ben Herd (Captain of Aldershot FC) have both been in touch with Tyler on Twitter since he started undergoing his treatment earlier this year and he has become a local hero in our tight-knit community.

Despite going through intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy to beat his lymphoma, Tyler is still attending college when he can and spends his spare time raising money for his local Boxing Club and even training when he feels up to it.

Anything you can do to help us support the charity treating this wonderful young man and the wonderful children just like him would be greatly appreciated.
